BRAHMACHARYA IS NOT CELIBACY
Why brahmacharya is always linked with celibacy People often translate the understanding of brahmacharya as celibacy .which falsely perceives the relation and meaning of brahmacharya and put themselves into wrong practices based on their limited understanding and then the more disturbance appears in the path because of the ignorant or dualistic view of brahmacharya. Is celibacy the most suitable English word describing brahmacharya? Celibacy is not the right word to understand brahmacharya. Celibacy is defined as the absence of sex, state of unmarried by several religious views. brahmacharya is not just absence of sex or one who is not married cannot follow the practice of brahmacharya .if brahmacharya was an absence of sex it can be called as continence .total awareness of the absolute and the intention of any act is brahmacharya.
